About Us

We're passionate about sharing the LUV 🩷 that comes from having a Golden Retriever as part of your family.

Our love for red golden retrievers started many years ago and we love placing puppies in loving furever homes.

They are sweet, intelligent balls of fur filled with unconditional love. They are great with people of all ages and other pets.

Breeding healthy, well-adapted pups is our highest priority.

Our Process

1. Application

We start taking applications from interested fur baby families at confirmation of pregnancy around 30 days. Puppy personality matching is a must so please fill out the application with as much detail as possible.

We allow selection of male / female based on availability and the date of deposit on a first come, first serve basis.

2. Interview

After an application is completed, we do a telephone interview with each prospective furever home family.

The purpose of the call is to understand the needs, capabilities, and experience of each applicant in order to ensure a pawsitive experience and smooth transition for the puppy and the new family.

3. Deposit

A $500 non refundable deposit through Zelle is required in order to reserve a puppy.

The rest of the payment is due in cash on the puppy pick up day or via Zelle 5 days before pickup.

4. Digital Visiting Hours

I do not allow visitors at my home to see the puppies in order to avoid contamination of Parvo (a canine viral infection).

However, I will be happy to schedule Zoom / Google Meet video calls so you can see how your puppy is growing during the first 8 weeks.

5. Pickup

We will schedule a pickup day and location so you can get your new puppy!

Your puppy will come with AKC paperwork with limited registration, a health contract, and puppy food to get you started.

6. Training

We implement initial training with "Puppy Culture Principles" to start each pup off on the right paw. Once you take your puppy home you will need to continue their training. Let the LUV begin!

FAQs

How old is the puppy when we can take it home?

Our puppies are ready to join their forever homes at around 8 weeks of age. This gives them time to grow, nurse, and socialize with their littermates, which is important for healthy development. By 8 weeks, your puppy will be weaned and ready to bond with you.

How do I train my new puppy?

Golden Retrievers are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them wonderful to train. We recommend starting with positive reinforcement (praise, treats, and play). Begin reinforcing simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Consistency is key—keep training sessions short (5–10 minutes) and fun. Early socialization with people and other dogs is also very important. Many families find success enrolling their puppy in a basic obedience or puppy training class within the first few months.

What can my new puppy eat?

We start our puppies on a high-quality puppy food formulated for large-breed dogs, and we’ll provide you with details of what your puppy has been eating with us so you can continue with the same diet at home. Puppies have sensitive stomachs, so it’s best to avoid sudden food changes. You can transition to a different food slowly over a week if desired. Always provide fresh water, and avoid giving your puppy human foods (especially chocolate, grapes, onions, and other foods toxic to dogs). Use my link above to purchase high quality puppy food.

What do I need to have ready for my new puppy?

Leash, collar, chew toys, car tether, food and water bowl, crate, potty pads, cleanup material, dog food, puppy treats, grooming supplies.
