"She started her life as the purple puppy in Linda’s home. She is the puppy we brought home from Linda’s Golden Luv when she was 8 weeks old. Maui is a very affectionate, curious, energetic, and loving puppy and she fits right in with our cat and 4 year old Golden that was very happy that we brought home a sibling.
Linda’s Golden Luv socialized these amazing puppies and taught them many skills before they went off to their permanent homes. She taught them the "Sit", "Leave it", and "Come" commands and she used their name any time she could.
They were crate trained and she potty trained them in several ways, using the doggie door, ringing bells to go outside to relieve themselves and to use puddle
pads as necessary.
She raised them inside her home along with her three Golden dogs, so they were familiar with different items in the home, the vacuum, the garbage disposal, doors and doorbells.
Linda also played noises inside her home so they would be exposed to outside noises as well. They heard trucks shifting gears, reverse noises, sirens, trash trucks, general loud noises and cars honking horns etc.
Our experience with Linda’s Golden Luv was awesome in many ways. Maui has a sweet disposition, and she is super social. She loves meeting our friends, our pet sitters, and our friends’ dogs.
She plays like crazy with our 4 yr old Golden who loves her very much. Thanks to how Linda brought up these puppies in the first weeks of their lives the puppies are well rounded and ready to transition into their new homes.
When our Vet first met Maui she was very impressed. She thought she looked fantastic and after doing her examination felt she was extremely healthy as well.
She was calm and relaxed while the Vet examined her, a pleasure to deal with. Linda’s Golden Luv’s contract included a health guarantee, and she provided the proper AKC paperwork.
Linda was quite easy to communicate with and very promptly answered all my questions. She is very dedicated, and she cares very much for each of the puppies.
